Sanjeepan Sivapiran

I am Sanjeepan Sivapiran, a graduate student pursuing MASc in Computer Engineering at the Lassonde School of Engineering, York University. My research interests lie in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Software Engineering, with a particular focus on improving code generation through alignment techniques (RLAIF, DPO, RLHF) for Large Language Models.

Before joining York University, I completed my BSc Engineering (Hons) in Computer Science & Engineering with First Class at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I also have industry experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at H2O.ai.
